Programs

The Imagination Project Programming.

Currently, we are running two programs and gearing up for 2 more in the upcoming year. The campaigns are, in essence, interventions against the dual crises of technological exclusion and cognitive erosion. The ultimate objective is the development of an enduring cognitive framework that allows students to command, rather than passively consume, the systems reshaping our world.

Dear Future Leader

Active now

Our flagship curriculum, written and delivered to more than five hundred elementary students across Texas. Designed as a inspirational tool for elementary schoolers, it worked to develop service-oriented and interdisciplinary future leaders. As this program draws to its planned conclusions, the insights and qualitative data captured from school to school will be codified into our long-term research repository.

The accompanying children's book funds literacy and hygiene programs for over eight hundred women served by Manav Sadhna in Ahmedabad, India.

The Translation Initiative

Active now

Because the vast majority of machine learning research, policy, and general digital safety discourse is exclusively in English, global populations are excluded for technical insight. Our Translation Initiative aims to mobilize regional networks of student translators to map, translate, and contextualize complex AI, technology, and safety information into 50+ languages.

Student translators earn verified service hours; partner companies and schools amplify our scope, so reach out to contact@theimaginationproject.org to help.

  • Who: multilingual students
  • What: translate AI education materials
  • Earn: verified service hours
  • Goal: 50+ languages

The Collegiate AI Index: RAISE

In development

RAISE, Reduce Artifical Intelligence Surplus in Education. How much do colleges actually use and rely on AI? What does it cost them intellectually and ecologically? We're currently building a precise, honest index to quantify answer to these questions. These "scorecards" drive institutional transparency and motivate administrators to upgrade their educational standards.

Designed from day one to expand across US colleges.

  • Method: surveys + investigative research
  • Partners: data scientists
  • Scope: US campuses
